Platform Terms of Service

1. Overview
By using DawgPark ("we," "us," "our") and creating an account on our platform ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms. We may update them periodically.
2. What We Do
- We provide software that helps independent organizers ("Organizers") create and manage tournaments.
- We do not host, run, supervise, or control any events listed on the Platform.
3. Organizer Responsibility
Organizers are fully responsible for their events, including:
- Safety and conduct of participants
- Providing and enforcing any required waivers
- Event rules, refunds, and communications
- Compliance with laws, facility rules, and insurance requirements
We are not involved in event operations.
4. Participant Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
- By registering for an event, you acknowledge that athletic activities carry inherent risks.
- Any waivers or releases required for an event are between you and the Organizer.
- We are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses related to event participation.
5. Payments and Fees
- Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
- Organizers set their own prices and refund policies.
- Our service fees, if any, will be shown at checkout.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Platform, falsify information, disrupt events, or violate any laws. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
- You retain rights to any content you submit. You grant us permission to use it only as needed to operate the Platform.
- All other Platform content belongs to us.
8. Disclaimer
"as is." We do not guarantee event accuracy, safety, or availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- We are not liable for anything arising from events created or run by Organizers.
- Our total liability for issues related to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
